It is unfortunate that there is no money to be made by saving lives any longer. Now the money is in prolonging lives and teaching people how to “live with” their particular disease. Even worse is when they begin to trick your mind into accepting the disease by teaching you to adopt the language of claiming the disease. It ceases to be cancer…it becomes “mycancer”.
They strive hard to teach you how to live with a diseased body and spirit. How to live with decreased energy, functionality and mobility. How to live with the crippling pain of Crohn’s or the disgust of being eaten alive by a once-harmless bacteria.
Why are so many people suffering so unnecessarily? Why are millions upon millions of people busy learning to live with diseases which can be cured?
